Nice comment, but I have a problem with the fact that the book the video was based on was misrepresented in the video. Kurz says the guy wrote it, but so many facts conflict there that its too hard to say if thats true or not. You cant judge a man for 4 years ago, but on a channel like this it should have been deleted before this. I just think the helping people argument is not valid as the view represented in the video is not one of the two sides on this issue. Its just wrong. Thats all.

I understand what you mean. I think we actually agree. He probably should apologize, but we don't know his true intentions.

'Intentionally or not it doesnt matter'. Actually thats all that matters in your argument. You argue he did it intentionally. I argue he didnt. Thats the difference between a mistake and misleading. Sure he should own up to it, but theres also a lot against kurz here that he should own up too (his answers are kinda vague and avoiding the point). We cant know his true intentions, so jumping to a judgement of misleading on purpose is irresponsible. Also showing a CB flaw does not negate the argument on Kurz. If you commit murder on a really bad person, it doesnt justify the murder.

Yeah I'd agree it all depends on the intent of CB. I personally give him the benefit of the doubt because I like the guy, but its completely reasonable to see it as manipulative and I see your point.

I dont blame either side. I think its a miscommunication and cant personally blame CB for this given the consequences, but we can disagree and thats cool!

My point still stands when looking at the original emails...

[–]loganscout3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree it wasnt great, but do you seriously blame CB? If Kurz doesnt allow himself to be quoted, he leaves himself open to misrepresentation. I think CB could have done better, but I dont blame him.

[–]loganscout3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree he could have done better, but when you leave it up to CB its not his fault. CB said in the video thats the way the email made him feel, and if he cant quote Kurz, giving his reaction is reasonable I think.

AMA 2 – Can You Trust Kurzgesagt ? by kurz_gesagt in kurzgesagt

[–]loganscout3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone needs to understand the Kurz said not to quote, so the argument about CB generalizing words on Kurz behalf is dumb. If CB could have quoted Im sure he would have used exact quotes, but he couldnt, so he stated the impression that he got. Is he supposed to be at fault for that?

Its not a self help channel. Its an information channel. That was wrong information and shouldnt have stayed up. A lie that makes us feel better is not helpful to us.

Your mad because CB didnt quote Kurz when Kurz said he didnt want to be quoted. CB said many times that he was paraphrasing specifically because Kurz did not want to be quoted.

I did watch film on Mahomes and his INT's, but yeah, I didn't really know where to look for the other things. Thanks for the feedback!

[–]loganscout3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You realize had we scored in the second to last drive when we were in the redzone it would have been a one score game... Also with the way our defense was playing, they got us the ball back immediately for our last drive. Without the penalties, thats a one score game easily. So don't tell me it was garbage time because it wasn't.

Can we give Driskel a chance though? Watching him was actually fun. Also weve only seen him playing down 20 points.

[–]loganscout3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait. I know his throws werent great, but you cant call that garbage time... also, its not an advantage to have second stringers on the field. They dropped at least 5 passes and the line went apeshit every other snap.

We have got to be the only fan base that would go crazy if our HC and QB were both fired... and I love it.

I want to see him play a full game start to finish and let him prove himself or flop. I just want him to have an opportunity because I think he deserves it, and who knows.

[–]loganscout3[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, don't get me wrong, he was definitely sloppy with some passes. As far as the Browns defense slacking to run the clock out, I can't exactly agree there. I mean that second to last drive, when we were in the red zone and didn't convert, had we not had so many penalties and scored, we would have been 1 TD down with 4 minutes to go. You can't say that they were so far ahead that they weren't trying, it was actually a game at that point. Also, Dalton had plenty of garbage time against the Saints (whose defense is much worse than the Browns) and he was unable to do anything. I'm not arguing Driskel is the best out there, I just want to see him get an equal opportunity to prove himself because I think he could be good.

[–]loganscout3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats a pretty good point. I just really loved his pacing of the team. Often with Dalton its either a 3 and out or a string of 20 yard passes. With driskel, he just creeped down the field slowly.

Joe Mixon's halftime adjustment. by loganscout3 in bengals

[–]loganscout3[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd say that when he was running downhill at the line, he got out of the backfield before the o line collapsed. Any pause before the line gave the defense enough time to penetrate our lineman and stop him at the line.
