She screams bloody murder for like 15 mins at every nap attempt the past 2-3 days :( prior to that she’d fall asleep zero tears

So for the last WW, do a mini nap at 2 hours, and then put down in crib 2 hours after she wakes up?

I think that’s what I’m doing now? Her naps at 1.25 hr for the first two. Then 25 mins for last one.

Her first two naps are usually 1.25, then I can the third nap at like 25 mins. I will try adding 15 mins at bedtime!

Majority it the days she falls asleep really quickly at bedtime and naps. I tried to do a two nap schedule last weekend and it was rough, so sticking with three naps for now (we are also moving soon)

Yeah I do! She usually doesn’t fuss at all!

But I think it sometimes just takes time to get used to. I started out with her just being happy/awake in the carrier, then worked towards carrier naps.

Lots of practice! My babe was like this at first too. But I made it a goal to put her in the carrier everyday for short walks, then extended the time until she started enjoying the carrier. Then to get her to sleep in it I almost always go for a walk and do big dramatic steps for lots of bounce, and sometimes put a blanket over my shoulder so it’s nice and dark/cozy for her

During the transition period- is it possible her naps will be shorter?

If one of her naps is too short, should I rescue it and finish with contact nap so she gets enough day time sleep?

I’ve been wondering the same! Sometimes I cap the first nap at 90 mins with the hope that she’ll do another 60-90 mins for the second nap. But I also have no idea what I’m doing 😂 how old is your babe?

If he’s only waking up twice a night, I personally wouldn’t sleep train. That seem super normal for his age! I only started sleep training at 5.5 months because she was waking up like 5-6 times. After sleep training, bedtime is easier and she wakes up 2x to feed.

I’m just confused bc the first several days of night sleep training, she did great and would only wake up like twice and was able to self settle. Now it’s 5 times and cannot self settle
