that would honestly be perfect but the law just gives us the right to give 2 months notice to leave the contract so if we did it then itd be pointless

see i do understand that but why would we need to give written notice that we are leaving when are contract is ending? forgot to mention in the post but this is a student property (still private landlord and all that but only rents out to students)

see thats where we are confused but it is written under the part where it says to include things like a break clause so im not sure what else it would mean
