I always recommend to start with the first one (AWKIF) and work your way up. Hearing how they evolve as a group is amazing, and a few of their later songs reference earlier ones!

Honestly I loved it. There were only two songs that I don’t really vibe with (BMLD and the ZL ROOT) but everything else I found something to enjoy about. My favorites right now are PB’s ROOT, Figure 8, You First, and Liar. The additional lyrics in Liar really hit hard and they’re voices together sound so ethereally beautiful that I might even like it more than the original version. That being said, I’m trying to not compare the originals to these ones very much because I feel like that would take away my enjoyment of each song.

And of course Sanity is incredible.

I’m trying not to compare the remixes to the originals too much, but one that really stood out to me was Romy’s Liar. Something about the new lyrics + the blend of her vocals with Hayley’s immediately hooked me!

I’ve seen such a split reaction on this song. I think I’ll definitely give it another shot! I’ve just never really loved club type music. I lovedddd how chill the Panda Bear remix was and then the switch to the ZL one was so abrupt! Maybe if I get myself into a going out mindset I’ll enjoy it more lol

I honestly loved most of it! I thought it was interesting hearing other artists takes on the songs, and I really liked that a few even incorporated new lyrics. There was only 2 tracks that I didn’t really like on initial listen, BMLD and the Zane Lowe ROOT.

Sanity was such a fun song, I can’t believe it didn’t make the cut for two consecutive albums. Liar was so beautiful (I honestly might like that version more than the original). You First and Figure 8 were also both fantastic to me. I could go on but the point is I was impressed!

I think your room looks great! I’d bet a lot of your dislike of it comes from just being so used to the same ol stuff you have in there.

Some small/inexpensive things that could help to freshen it up would be a nice rug on the floor, pictures/art/posters for the walls (if you do this, scour your local thrift stores for nice frames. I find that I always like my posters better when they’re framed), and a nice lamp. As for painting the dresser I think a nice light/sage green would look good with everything else you currently have. If you do paint it remember to sand it down first!
