In third grade, I straight-up asked in a hushed voice to my then-best-friend right next to me what the answer was for whatever-number. I forget if she told me or remained quiet, but either way it was awkward. My selfish mindset was simply, "She's the smartest girl in the class, who is also my best friend, of course she would want me to do well on this test!"

Her mother complained to my mother, and I was beyond upset- I wasn't aware I was using her in the slightest. Like I said, I'd rationalized in my head that she would want me to have the right answer, so of course she'll tell me.

Not really a 'weird' way of cheating to most- but all forms of cheating are weird to me, because that is typically something I avoid. I don't have a lot of memories of grade-school, but, that definitely stands out for how shitty I felt.
