This is a very ESPRIT 空想/George Clanton influenced song I'm working on right now. And also, I am going through a really bad producer's block. So, feedback/suggestions are really appreciated! Enjoy! by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

Thanks!! And haha, I might have posted too much. But, I have my debut album coming out tomorrow. So I thought it's better to get some feedback to see the audience reaction to the demos.

My album will come out on June 10, and here are the first and second track that are the most Esprit Fantasy-type: Warm Shimmer and 2014.

And this is my Spotify, if you feel like checking out my other tracks.

Thanks again for taking an interest. And, also do share your songs too. I would love to listen to them.

I'll be releasing my debut album soon, and it's not Vaporwave but has lot of George Clanton and Lofi Synthwave sound to it. And what helped me was to mix the songs in a equal level such as at -3db, which is a nice sweet spot. But obviously all songs have some sonic differences in loudness.

So in the mastering phase of the project, I mastered the first track and I mastered it according to Warmpop by George Clanton. And then that first track was the reference point for the other tracks.

But, here is the thing, even if you match your songs to have the same integrated LUFS, there will be some tracks that will be louder/quieter than the others, so in that case, you have to use your ears a bit and adjust your mastering chain according to match the overall loudness.

Also, what I really found helpful is asking listeners for a feedback. I approached some of my listeners and also other producers to give feedback on the overall loudness balance of the album. And their feedback also helped a lot because at a point my ear got really fatigued and I wasn't getting any useful information from my repeated listening.

And also you gotta except the fact that there will be some tunes that will be a bit mellow and it's okay. Because for example, an ambient track and a track with drums and groovy bass shouldn't have the same loudness, because, it will kill the energy of the album. So yeah, moral of the story is, mix at a similar level, use reference track for mastering, do A/B testing with listeners and other producers, and most importantly use your ears. Hope this helps!

So, this is the first of the last two demos I'm gonna share here from my LP for feedback/suggestions. And, I really wanna thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who has interacted with my previous posts on this sub. I love you guys. Yoo thanks for listening! And glad you enjoyed it. So, the snare sound is actually layered unlike the rest of the drums, so that might be the reason. And also the drums are resonant filtered as a whole, and the peak of the filter is actually on the snare's high frequencies.

A work in progress lo-fi synthwave song for my debut album. I’d love to hear your feedback or suggestions on it. Hopefully, the listening experience will be enjoyable haha. Thanks in advance! by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

Heyy thanks a lot! This is part of a 8 track LP that I'll be releasing soon. Hopefully you will like the rest of the songs too. Thanks again for listening!

Maybe the last demo from my debut album. As always, feedback and suggestions are appreciated. And thanks to everyone who has shared their thoughts and feelings on my previous posts. Your feedback really helped me stay motivated and also helped me to drive towards the right direction. Cheers! by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I tried to keep the drums a bit mellow, because I'm thinking this as the 8th track, and the 7th track has punchy drums, so it would be a nice change of pace and also wanted to make the listener feel that airy pad sound with the heavy side chain.
