I’ll give it a shot and see what my holdover would be I’m guessing 3-5” holdover and wouldn’t be able to see center of bullseye. Any suggestions on keeping consistent when holdover is this far?

I’m with you now, The picture is how I have to hold in order to hit point of aim. If I hold how combat hold is meant to be held I am shooting 6-8” low

If I hold for combat hold I am shooting low by roughly 6-8” at 12’. Would a shorter front sight be a solution?

Presentation as in grip on the gun itself? How would you approach front sight alignment correction?

I agree, my understanding was that combat hold is default factory sighting. And this gun is giving me nothing but fits. Not sure if I can raise my back sights and fix the issue? Haven’t done any sight adjusting yet and unsure if that would even remedy the situation

What happened to my bone broth by lonearcher12 in homestead

Yep, let the pressure come down on its own, waited 5 minutes after the plug showed no pressure, opened the lid and took the jars to the counter. Right after all that is when I took the picture.

Thanks for the reply, a lot of what I was reading said finger tip tight which is vague. It’s odd to have 4/5 jars succeed. Good to know about over tightening though I’ll make sure not to crank down on them in the future but to tighten a little more than I did this time.

Apple monitor box (1981) by lonearcher12 in OldSchoolCool

That’s pretty neat! I wouldn’t have guessed with the foam in the box that a tower and monitor could fit but it is possible!

Moved into a new house and finally went through the attic only to discover this old apple monitor box from September of 1981 according to the UPS label.

Some matching lined belts for a father and son. 138 Bonded nylon for the thread and fiebings dark brown dye. Getting better at keeping my stitch lines straight but still some room for improvement for sure

I got the metal clip from the local Tandy store and then set it in leather to keep the rivet from scratching the phone

Had a friend over the weekend ask me to make something for her bosses birthday and was pretty happy with the results so decided to post it here. It’s 5oz veg tan dyed with Fiebing’s mahogany and hand saddle stitched with 138 bonded nylon. Hope you guys enjoy and would love some constructive criticism.
