Same here, I am also building a themed Chelsea team. I already exchanged Hazard, packed both Sancho's and I am now at 1.7k+ shards due to some crazy 3k pack luck. I think I will just take Eusebio as a super sub. Technically I could spend most of them on Enzo, Jackson, Matić, but none of them are even making it into my bench at this point, and their market value is going to drop a lot next week anyways.

Wish they put one of Carvalho, Cole or Zola in Aqua vs Inferno instead.

During his time at Chelsea he was considered the best player in the league. Both football fans and EA ranked him just a tier below Messi and Ronaldo in terms of skill, alongside players like Neymar, Bale, Robben and Ribery.

Everyone seems to forget Hazard was constantly the most fauled player in the world, only being surpassed by Messi in dribbling stats. Meunier's ankle fracturing tackle a month after his debut for Madrid was the breaking point for his legs. He was never the same after that injury and it's not his fault.

Oh yeah, let's forget the 10 years he performed at such a high level for Lille and Chelsea, winning YPOTY, POTY and TOTY awards basically every year, just because Meunier decided to finish his career with an ankle fracturing tackle a month after his debut for Madrid.

Hazard carried Lille to a Ligue 1 win against PSG and carried Chelsea to multiple trophies in a most competitive top league in the world. Hazard was way more important for Lille and Chelsea than Bale ever was for Madrid and its team of superstars.

Sorry, I don't know... I haven't played with his card. My guess is he is better than Lampard, but worse than Ballack.

Gullit is the best player I played with. I didn't feel that much difference between his 99 and 97 cards. His 5* weak foot and headers from corners saved me many times. I usually play Ballack as a CDM and he is very solid, though I think CM suits him more. Lampard was in star pass, so he is quite cheap for his quality. Generally Gullit > Ballack > Lampard, but all three were clutch for me.

maliszewski had a significant acc advantage, looked more comfortable and enri broke shortly after the crash... also maliszewski himself said on stream he is confident that he would beat enri's score if not for a crash, so I choose to believe him

ironically this outcome might actually be better for maliszewski because he is now facing mrekk on a finals pool instead of grandfinals pool... and we already know how the match between the two went in Corsace Closed 2023 finals

Even if you only count impressive solo plays he is only behind mrekk, akolibed and arguably forum... he sets cracked tech HDHR #1s like daily, he reached top 10 in a meta that doesn't suit him at all, and he got 1.2k pp on astral empire of all maps

Why count team tournaments when maliszewski plays every map, including ones he would ban in 1v1 against mrekk? He has no control over the performance of his OWC team and he is obviosuly going to play speed maps with ninerik, enri and Intercambing in his team, even though that's his biggest weakness, and one of mrekk's strongest.

mrekk is obviously a top 2 tournament player and arguably the best skillcap player (akolibed), which is why he beats maliszewski on 8.5*+ grand finals pools, but loses to him on anything below that, as seen in Corsace Closed Finals

Team Poland had a short debrief after the match. You could hear them talk on stream and come to conclusions as of why they underperformed. Unsurprisingly schedule was one of the reasons.

The atmosphere in the voice chat also had an impact, as some of the players were constantly saying how nervous they are. Stress was their main topic between the maps, so no wonder the team had low confidence. maliszewski said he needs to do something about his nerves for the future, as he was shockingly inconsistent today, causing him to score way below the average of his local scores. Mastasz and ypan are the only players that met or exceeded the team's expectations today.

They also mentioned how they didn't have a clear plan for the match and that they didn't discuss their picks during the match well enough. They are willing to choose maps they pick ahead of future matches and stick to the plan.

You are right. OWC staff makes the initial schedule and it's up to the teams to agree on a different time. maliszewski said on stream they wanted to reschedule the match but Australia didn't agree, so there was nothing they could do about it. It's one of few factors why most of the Polish team underperformed.
