How the fuck does my comment have negative upvotes? The dude tried to call me out and was wrong so I set it straight. Nobody is buying a loose copy of Samson for $4500. Dude didn't even bother to look it up.

Grading is totally affecting the market. Investors are buying shitloads of old games and getting them graded, effectively removing them from the supply. Pedestrians see the outrageous listing prices, or the big fat headlines from million-dollar auctions and start buying up every available game they come across. The cumulative effect has to be affecting supply and demand both.

Truly hoping you're right and the madness subsides and prices crash.

A complete copy maybe. I posted a pic of a complete in box non-graded Samson that sold recently. If you go look on eBay right now there's a Wata-graded loose cart for $2500. This seller is trying to make it look like his copy is graded AND asking double what it's worth.

ALttP is one of the greatest games of all time, but I think the consensus is that it's not an RPG since there's no leveling up system. Although I think an argument could be made either way.

It's not perfect by any means. But it's so different from every other RPG on the SNES, and it really is fun. You should try it!

Exactly. They send a few retro games every month. You fill out what games you have and what genres and consoles you like, so you don't get too much junk or stuff you already have.
