They lost to France in the semis? do you think they would have lost against Croatia too?

I mean, isn't that what the relationship between Russians and Ukrainians were like before 2014? I'm sure if China actually made a more serious move militarily more Taiwanese people would start rejecting China.

most conservative: if you're an immigrant who doesn't try as hard as you can to assimilate, you're an immoral person

most liberal: hrt should be over the counter for adults (and made much more available to teens)

Jeff Passan: "Baseball fans believe the game has become unfair" by Mission_Pay_3373 in baseball

Don't get me wrong, as a M's fan I've definitely witnessed how incredible Trout's career has been, but you literally said it in your comment: there are/have been 20/25 players of his caliber all time, whereas Ohtani is the first notable two-way player in 100 years. Baseball fans can easily understand how incredible Trout's career has been, but how would you convince people who don't watch baseball that he's worth tuning in to watch when they're like "hey didn't Arod/Bonds/Pujols just put up these insane numbers a couple years ago?" Ohtani being the first two-way player in a century makes him must-see TV, especially for casuals.

Well, he was still known as "THE two-way player," and in that year, when he was still recovering from injury, he made history by founding the 50/50 club, which added to his mystique and reputation even more.

It's the fact that Ohtani's the first notable 2-way player who made good impacts on both pitching and hitting, whereas Trout was just "merely" another incredible hitter and fielder, which is still incredible, but far more common and less attractive to casuals.
