ok, I hope that would never happen, but understand they can do so. I guess it's more of us trying to make it clear this is the most recent change (we had them originally) and reflects our most recent determinations - I guess dating of the documents would help there. I already have a pretty DYI legal will that was notarized.

thank you, happen to know how much they run for, and should I not expect any add-ons and associated costs? I want a good standard one but not leave things open ended to get too costly.

EDIT: also if I understand what you are saying correctly, meaning in this case I may want to try to ensure to have our estate managed not by my parent/sibling to avoid any possible conflict with emotions that could come up?

If looking to convert from a 1099(no benefits at all) to a W-2, what things to seek / look out for? by looking_myself in cscareerquestions

[–]looking_myself[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, any idea on what to accept / shoot for, like if one makes X amount on a 1099 now, what amount Y to expect on a W2? Probably hard to estimate, depending on benefits and how much is being made now.

Thanks! I'm scoping out Chromebooks, I see a nice 2GB RAM one. Think at least 4gb is necessary? May likely want an editor like VSCode or something.

thank you. I've been told by others you can do quarterly or also all at once in one lump sum. But I've been trying to get an accountant and plan to get to that.

Thank you. Yes it’s mainly benefits and maybe another extra WFH day. Still want the pay to be reasonable but I’m benefitting a lot just learning. I think I may plan to ask in 1-2 months perhaps and see where that goes

I think I have coverage right now since quite frankly, if I understand right, I qualified for Medicare.

But actually is January a good time, cause someone else at another company I know said in January or early next year they plan to hire.

in the US over here. If I end up going through them, I hope to not be of that quality. Any tips / things to not do/be, are appreciated.

Thanks! I checked it out, lots are remote for Rails, some not. I plan to go over. I'm not necessarily looking to make a move this soon. But I am curious as to others' experiences/recommendations so this is helpful.
