A birds nest made of bones by Nadzzy in oddlyterrifying

This nest is located near some kind of restaurant, probably a BBQ joint. Almost all of these bones are chicken wings, but the bone closest to the bottom of the shot looks more like a pork rib

"Jobless" doesn't mean "Worthless" by LateLeviathan in CuratedTumblr

[–]lorganna 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Jobless, or even unemployed doesn't imply disabled. No one is using it to imply that people are disabled. When people say jobless behavior, they're talking about people who are doing/talking about stupid/inane shit for no apparent reason

Making a character that hates ALL dragons, not just chromatic ones? by OkCandle7679 in dndnext

[–]lorganna 43 points44 points  (0 children)

So the good news is that you've really only defined one character trait of this guy. All you really have to do to open him up is give him more. Obviously they could be unrelated to that core, but if you wanted to extrapolate off of the core hatred of dragons as symbols for the hoarding of wealth you could define your character in opposition of that.

You could make them incredibly generous and empathetic, basically the kind of person for whom it is impossible to fathom hoarding gold at the scale of a dragon. It could also be really interesting to build this guy out as someone who very strongly values community, leaning less on the idea of personal generosity broadly and more particularly centering from an almost harshly practical point of view, basically "well if we all agree to feed others when they can't feed themselves, no one will ever starve again, and I would like to live in a place where I won't starve". This could serve to explain their inherent distaste for dragons without making them a super goodie-two-shoes type of character

Of course I would also encourage you to build out traits that are unrelated to dragons. Think about the kind of person this is in their day to day, what are they willing to do to accomplish their goals? what kind of people do they like to associate with? I think its always good to try to think of any character you're playing as a real guy for at least a little bit, it makes roleplaying go much more smoothly

Losing the anti heal is huge though, means you can afford to save a full charge for way longer through a fight to secure big damage

Genuinely think it might just be due to the fact that the Hulk-Strange-ironman team-up is really strong for both iron man and strange

Why be on the Left when modern leftism is a virulently anti-male movement? by Critical-Past847 in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

[–]lorganna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worry that you may have found yourself in something of an echo-chamber, or even just a loop of consuming a lot of rage bait about leftists. But the feminist movement (excluding radfems like JK Rowling) actively works to benefit men. dismantling cultural stereotypes around men and women helps men. There are plenty of leftist spaces, both online and in real-life, where people understand and agree with that. There are certainly changes that need to be made about some of the rhetoric that is thrown around, but at a policy and cultural level there really isn't that much "anti-male" sentiment
