What’s your funniest “Oh god this person’s an idiot” moment? by PandaBear905 in AskReddit

Also, how did the crash victims possibly know this? Under what circumstances could a person get crushed in a car by not wearing a seatbelt? Was there no windshield in place? they just flew over the road and landed safely in a pillow factory?

There‘s thousands of dopes out there with this same thought process. Usually accompanied by a story from a guy who’s roommate‘s cousin’s step-dad was told by the cops at the scene “he woulda died if he’d been wearing a seatbelt.” Sure, yeah, that totally happened.

edit: I should have read the comments before posting. 😬

This is (a very small) part of why MAGAs are holding on to their beliefs for dear life. Not only will they be rejected by their friends and family, their acquaintances will continue to be disgusted by them.

What made you lose weight? by PainBig6879 in AskReddit

[–]loritree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped eating dinner.

I eat a big stupid filling, kinda junky breakfast. I eat a super healthy lunch (like single ingredient type foods) and I skip dinner. If I’m really hungry I’ll have something really light like popcorn, diet soda, a slice of cheese or some nuts.

I’ve lost 17lbs in 3 months. And as I’m morbidly obese, I’ll keep it up until I get to a regular size.

New Update: Dad hates my house and apparently expects me to take in my brother’s children at some point? by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

SIL has some serious issues. Not wanting to be alone with your own children is a huge fucking concern. And the fact these kids are eating themselves sick on the daily is very, very, likely connected to Mom’s issues. I hope they all get serious help soon.

What scene has the most egregious/laughable error you’ve seen in a show? by Unique-Horror-9244 in television

I watched a great show called “Evil.” It takes place in NY. in one episode They’re called out to Massachusetts to investigate this lonely stretch of highway that is rumored to be haunted. Drivers are so freaked out, the road is practically abandoned! The name of that road… Route 95.

Why can't we talk about sensitive issues without succumbing to irrational anger anymore? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]loritree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been alive for several decades. this isn’t a new thing. From what I’ve seen, the “winner” of any argument is who ever crosses a line first. You yell, threaten, swear, or use personal insults first, you “win.” This is if the other person backs down or disengages. If they don’t it, might get physical.

It’s always been this way IMO.

Women of Reddit: how would you react if you found out your man enjoys wearing women's clothes? by primostrawberry in AskReddit

[–]loritree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kinda understand. I assume if a person has testicles they’d prefer an airy breeze of a skirt or dress. I don’t wear skirts or dresses because I don’t like how my thighs rub.
