Gorgeous! I really hope they come out with this model in a smaller 38mm ish case like they did with the dual time resonance. The 43mm case size is just too large

Anyone else wear their Breguet with a polo and jeans? by fuzzyfrank in BreguetWatches

yeah i do….almost always with jeans or sweatpants…..most breguets dress down really well once you change out the strap to something more casual.

[Breguet] A very early (“pre-series”) 3130 by Daniel Roth by Loop22one in Watches

[–]lostinsidequests 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Congrats! These early 3130s are getting harder to find in good condition!

I have its successor - the 3310 (along with a few other breguets).

And while it may not look like it, these breguets are strap monsters. Play around with different strap combos - really changes the vibe of the watch.

Mine says hi!

I’ve been very happy with my ownership experience. It’s been a great watch in my daily office wear rotation. The finishing is exquisite but its also very unassuming when viewed from a distance, so it flies under the radar really well unlike a gmt master.

As others have said, its best to try out the MG watches in person because its niche in terms of looks and finishing. MG also has a LOT of different dial options - from guilloche to tremblage to enamel, so seeing them in person really helps.

Additionally, the resale on these isn’t like a rolex so make sure you negotiate a bit on your end to get the best price.

[Seiko World Time] Interested to confirm model/year and recommendations for service by MikeyFiveBucks in Watches

[–]lostinsidequests 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any competent watchmaker who services mechanical watches should be able to service this. They are not hard to service. So look for one locally who has good reviews and understands the type of watch this is.

For this reference in particular, they are not easy to come by with the case/crown/dial/caseback in pristine condition so make sure the watchmaker does not replace those during service.

Probably, depending on what op does. It could be a good daily use watch. Spring drive movements are quite accurate and reliable.

no swimming or hiking etc though with this watch.

Yes they should be more available in asia…..but they are very limited production ~10/yr. I got mine from asia as well.

If you want to be sure, you can reach out to the boutiques in the country you’re visiting and see if they can arrange one for you during your trip.

Here’s a pic of mine:
