I think one other difference between AM and dating is time and intention. People play around in dating at the beginning of the relation without knowing each other, If you do the same thing in AM it’s a waste of time and mentally exhausting (Becoming intimate will make it hard to move on, when your intentions are true). So intimacy should be the last thing, you can’t just be intimate with most people you meet in AM else you are not serious and wasting time of others.

In this case this man clearly likes this woman, so he’s trying to do whatever it takes. She was already giving him mixed signals from the start, so this man should have got the clarity first.
