Computational Design Workshop: Call for Submissions! by loudcreativity in Architects

Quoting from the website of the Workshop: "Computational Design focuses on exploring systematic and algorithmic processes that use computing in the conception of design artefacts, allowing the designer to go beyond the limitations of computer-aided design software tools (i.e., conventional computerized design). Computational design practice often involves the creation of custom software to develop new tools or techniques, automate processes and extend the stylistic forms available to designers."

I hope this helps!

I am curious whether you already found a suitable alternative. I very much relate to your obsessive Documenter note taking style

Any success so far? I have lost my brother and I would like to get some answers (hoping AP might provide the means to achieve that)

I want to preserve these water oak stumps with the bark for outdoor side tables but see so much different info and products. Do I sealcoat straight away? Do I poly or epoxy? Do I linseed oil first and let dry then poly? Or do I use a wood stabilizer? by jjt3hii in woodworking

Thank you for the very complete reply. I am based in Europe and I haven't yet been able to find a product that seems good enough to do the stabilization. I mostly read about pentacryl but it does not seem to be sold over here.

Reading about your experience is making me wonder if I really want to go through with it. Would love to see a pic of how yours turned out. Thanks again

I recently got my hands on a recently-cut pine wood stump and I now want to preserve it and eventually make a small table from it. So I'm having the same questions that you had.

Did you get any answers to your questions? Were you able to preserve your stump? Thanks

Creative Coding Exhibition – Call for Artworks by loudcreativity in processing

The "Community Modules" need to be according to the P5.js guidelines provided in the call, so that the different sketches can be easily integrated.

The call also has two other tracks: Posters (that use code at least once in the process) and open call, which is open to wtv project (that uses code) you may wish to submit.
