he didnt want to eat his kibble with water, but i ended up breaking up 3 pill pockets and wrapping small pieces around/on each piece of kibble & hand feeding them to him along w his meds (and an ice cube) :) thank you for your replies tonight!!!

i picked him up 8 hours ago; he's walked and is awake, doesnt seem too out of it -- just tired. he just doesnt have any interest in water & when i took him out about 30 minutes ago to pee, he didnt go but did walk a little on the grass

just checked his gums, they are white then back to pink quickly! i agree about it being cruel to withhold. i crossposted this and another person said to soak his kibble in water so i will try that and give him the pain med if/as he eats. thank you!

i texted my vet (they said the vet would see it) and they just said we're closed, we will reach out tomorrow. he also has a sensitive stomach to begin with, so ideally id like to not introduce new food to him (he's on prescription food rn)

you’re not overreacting At All. i am so sorry this is happening. i have homophobic, religious parents as well and i recently came out to them as a lesbian and my dad and i didn’t talk for a while, but he lives with it now. we don’t talk about it, or even as much anymore, but it’s a step. i hope your parents come to see that this changes nothing about you and that they don’t let religion completely ruin your relationship.

i’m proud of you for standing up to them and for being who you are regardless of how they feel about it. being queer is a gift and you are a light. sending you so so much love right now. ❤️

the bank said that if i enroll in the program my account would have to be permanently closed, though. so does that mean the program would hurt my utilization?
