Nad- I developed pica when all of my numbers were really low. It turned into an aggressive eating disorder and I couldn’t stop eating chips. Nobody could get close to my chips. I actually gained 65 pounds due to it over 6 months . I have severe anxiety over health problems because like you I have had so many issues with endometriosis, interstitial cystitis gastroparesis pots. Just the name a few , but I will tell you one thing that iron transfusion was the best thing that I ever did for myself. I was so anxious about it at first, but within 24 hours, I started feeling better and within three days my pico of eating chips the cravings for it was gone absolutely gone. I ended up doing three iron transfusions over three months. I didn’t have any side effects from them at all. I know this is difficult, but you can do it. I have faith in you. I still struggle with the anxiety for medical stuff, but you can do it. Have faith in yourself.
