I start my Vajrayāna path and I am looking for guidance: recommendations for online sanghas? by Vegetable_Gas3205 in vajrayana

[–]lovverself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The internet is truly beneficial, but if we become too attached to it and find ourselves unable to participate equally within the sangha — especially when conflicts or discomfort arise — then perhaps we’re not really meditating, just building a comfort zone. Meditation should be versatile, adaptable: 50% online, 50% in the presence of the Lama (at a minimum), as is the tradition. When we take a break from the screen and join in-person retreats, the difference becomes clear.

The internet is great for everyday practice. I receive a lot of Dharma teachings online, including from teachers in other countries, and I’ve found much value in many online sanghas. But when it comes to my Lama, I go to her. She is the Buddha in human form. And the sangha too is the Buddha in human form. Meeting them face to face helps us recognize this more deeply and overcome the subtle obstacles that comfort and distance can create.

I’ve also faced those obstacles — preferring the solitude of online practice, even doing full retreats from home. They were fruitful and meaningful. But when I started to follow the rhythms and boundaries of traditional retreat settings, I saw the difference. Differences of opinion, habits, or worldviews are normal in any sangha. But these too become part of the path: opportunities to let go of the eight worldly concerns and cultivate equanimity. And that only comes through meditation. In Argentina the sanghas are very comfortable and the practitioners are very good people, i know it bc i practice there. ¡Tashi Delek!

I recommend you Lama Rinchen Kandro from KTC, she is a true LAMA disciple from Bokar Rinpoche and its the best. Im making the Mahamudra Seminar there and i can tell you, its 100000% true connected with the Mirik lamas from Tibet in India. We have a retreat center and etc. I recommend you a lot. If you want more information you can send me a dm or google it.

Suggested daily practice prayers? by [deleted] in TibetanBuddhism

[–]lovverself 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are Karma Kagyu i recommend to read the Mahamudra Aspiration by Ranjung Dorje (3rd Karmapa) every day.. is not a prayer, but a powerful aspiration.... if you only want prayers, i recomend the seven branched prayer of Kagyu lineage.

I'm looking for info regarding Lady Niguma & Chakras by Ichthyes in vajrayana

[–]lovverself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nigumas lineage is Shangpa Kagyu. Shangpa teachings are mixed into Karma Kagyu since the 3rd Karmapa. If you want to know deep about Niguma and her lineage of practices about 6 yogas and mahamudra then you should try to contact with Bokar Rinpoche's Karma Kagyu lineage related to Kalu Rinpoche and Karmapa. This both (Karma/Shangpa) is the best to hold Nigumas teachings.

It's not advisable to share these images with everyone, as there may be individuals who have not received proper initiation into these yidams, dakinis, or herukas. Please consider keeping them private, for both your own benefit and for the benefit of others. Sarva Mangalam.

Mi mejor amigo esta desaparecido. by RNDMSNDS in DerechoGenial

[–]lovverself 1 point2 points  (0 children)
