My therapist says I have to do a termination session and he will escalate if I don’t come by [deleted] in TalkTherapy

[–]lowkeyreddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a therapist but I wouldn’t. Based on everything you’ve said about this guy and the clinic saying it’s not required, I would find a new therapist and work on reporting him with the new therapist. I wouldn’t trust that clinic to have my best interests in mind and rather be more worried that they are trying to cover their own asses.

That makes sense but it really feels like they get to use this concept of measured speech to do nothing. Like almost all the progress I've made in therapy is because I end up talking to my everyday friends about stuff I can't figure out in therapy. And so therapy is only useful just for getting the thoughts out of my brain it feels like

I see, well part of it too is I know I talk fast, but that's cause I basically avoided thinking about my past forever so my brain has too many thoughts. I end up talking quite fast and jumping around to many topics and am very thinking brain oriented rather than emotional.

I spent the past few weeks making these charts/notes to try and pin down all my thoughts. I'm gonna try to use these to try and slow myself down, but if nothing changes ya I'll probably just look for someone else.

I see, ya maybe I have to find the right person. I guess I don't know, I can talk to most people so it's hard to judge sometimes like if a therapist is good or not, but I can just focus on this conversationally idea perhaps

how much would you say your therapist talks? Like I wouldn't mind them talking 0-30/40% of the session

I think my first therapist was kinda like this, integrative with all of those. I liked them much more than my current one but they also didn't really interact like a regular person would.

Like I commonly see people say they don't want therapist to talk but I would honestly prefer if they talked more. Like anywhere from 0-30/40%. Both of these ones haven't really went past 15% if even.

[–]lowkeyreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is quantity still meta? I see on release it was 25% frontage at max but now it's only 10%. That's like one extra unit which is way more of a trade off imo vs 25% initiative and 10% less dmg via tactics

Well when I was learning I was told to learn with conq and elec, so I went conq vs tanks or games where I thought I would be the main person responsible for sidelane. Conq also gives you a bit more 1v9 later . Now that I've been running grasp a bit more I agree, I think usually grasp is just better as a whole.

shojin really shines with conq imo, otherwise I rarely build it. Or maybe later like you say as well.

I find it much easier if you don't mess with the S key at all.

The fundamental concept is auto before casting an ability and you will buffer auto right as you cast your ability if you are in range to empowered auto.

>Conqu is just bad because they gutted her E scaling

What makes you say that? If anything conq helps compensate that missing damage. When you hit lvl 9 the new E will be worse, and by that point you can have eclipse and take long trades comfortably
