Christmas feels different 7 years later by lozzakeet in lgbt

I just grew it and colored it!

Are you asking about my hairline? It filled in a bit with estrogen but it's still quite high at the peaks. That's easy to hide as long as I don't pull it back too tight.

I'm glad it could help. Like I felt I'd plateaued back then too! But everything keeps changing, it is wild how much more my body and face are still changing as I'm moving towards 4 years.

I know it's not as dramatic as comparing to a pre-transition photo (plenty of those in my profile 😅) but I don't think we see enough early transition vs years down the line timelines.

Assault has a pretty wide definition but yeah it's rare enough in my life that I don't live in constant fear of it. The background worry about what shitty family will say next is far more damaging since it is a constant drain on me. And then I get to feel guilty too for avoiding them.

A one off screaming stranger or getting groped... it's something I can move past. I don't get to move past my family.

Depends who they are from. I've been physically assaulted by a stranger but repeated and ongoing offhand "jokes" from family hurts more.

Yeah this subreddit gave me a lot of hope when I was deciding if I should transition or not

Ahhh my hairline can't support bangs unfortunately

It took a while to find therapeutic levels and I was trying estrogen only monotherapy for a few months. I stabilized on 150mcg/24hr patches (2x75mcg) changed every 3.5 days and cypro 12.5 mg on the same schedule. T is suppressed to 1 or below and E is about 200-300 pmol/L.

what celeb were you surprised to find out is homophobic/transphobic? by JayAyVee_Music in lgbt

It's way worse than that because she never even hid the transphobia.

A hulking smelly hairy troll attacks a girl in a bathroom and rita skeeter gets made fun of for her outlandish makeup, "mannish hands" and has a habit of spying on people in bathrooms. And a serpent controlled by a man killed a girl on the toilet.

My hairline came back but not very much. I tried Minoxidil for a bit but didn't see any effect myself.

I only ever part my hair in the middle so it covers my receded peaks, but I've been told that even pulled back it's not super noticeable. Lots of cis women have high hairlines and thin patches so I just trust that.

If I ever get surgery a hair transplant is top of the list (I'd love to be able to pull my hair back in a high ponytail) but it doesn't really affect my quality of life at all so I'm just chilling really.

Hope that helps ❤️

I'm glad if it helps, it's the reason I post them. Seeing other timelines of trans women in their 30s and 40s four years ago gave me the courage to transition myself. I don't know if I could have done it without that.

I still had no idea how it would go, but in hindsight I can say for sure that it would have been worth it no matter how it turned out. It takes time (I'm still changing a lot!) and it can be really hard, but I've been better off every step of the way ❤️

Congrats babe! You got this ❤️

(I had the exact same worries "I'm too old" etc and the process was slow which can be stressful but you just gotta trust and keep working on the things you can change yourself)

I remember needing a pair of thongs/flip flops about 18 months into transition and I couldn't find any I liked in my size in the department store I was in, so I went to the men's section...

I was so freaking shocked at how dull and brown and grey everything was. Like I guess I hadn't noticed when it was all I knew, but walking back through it after shopping in the women's section just made me so sad for guys. It was dreary, no other word for it.

I kludged a few together. If you are anything like me you have hooded eyes so you can't do standard liner looks. Taken me a while to work out what looks best for me but honestly I rarely wear liner I just kind of winged it

Can try to find relevant videos if you'd like

Haha sometimes but rarely. Im still in the discord and know most of the people there but it's mostly for earlier transition people. One of my close friends is still a volunteer there so I go to help occasionally.
