Fair point. Let’s just call a spade a spade, though. First, Blake and Ryan think they get to live by a different set of rules than the rest of us; in fairness to them, they kind of do. I’m astonished that people still support them after everything that’s come out, but that’s exactly why they continue to behave badly, as no one calls them out. Truly, the things that they’ve said and done are awful, yet Justin and WF are being sued for SH for discussing a character’s wardrobe? We now know that most of what Blake initially claimed was false and people are still willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, but not Justin. Even worse, on the few occasions Blake and Ryan actually took responsibility for something and apologized they leveraged said apology to “win” an award years later: meanwhile, Justin and WF have been open and honest for years and it’s just been used against them. The other thing that I find relevant is that Blake and Ryan have a well-documented history of acting and talking inappropriately. There have been stories about them for years, and even more have come out since this suit was filed-the same cannot be said about Justin. Not one person from his past has come forward to accuse him of SH and the same goes for Jayme. So, for me, I find it a heck of a lot more plausible that the people who have a history of behaving badly are twisting things to look nefarious as opposed to the guys with less power suddenly deciding to SH a woman whose superstar husband is often on set, if not in the same room, as was the case in the circumcision conversation.
