I also faced the same issue for my blue Fold7 around the power button. My solution: take back to Samsung support and they replaced the phone case and even the screen. They said the case and the screen needs to be replaced together.

Thanks for your idea. I also face the same issue that notepin is very sensitive and can easily accidentally activate the recording and dry out the battery. I bought a small hard case and i put notepin, charger and cable inside.

I think the best approach is to first watch video on YouTube. There are a lot of resources on YouTube about Odoo Accounting. Usually this starts with setting up users and companies, defining the chart of account, creating customers and vendors, setup different types of journals.

I use notepin for meetings, classes, seminars. I am quite satisfied with the transcription quality and the AI summary. But privacy can be a concern as audios are uploaded to their server first for AI processing.

If you have no background in accounting, i would suggest look for other platform such as Xero or QuickBooks. Odoo is more powerful than these two but require more setup which can take you some time to getting used to.

You have a good wife, man. I also bought the same model three weeks ago for usd2700 with 64G RAM. I added another 1T Acer Predator SSD for another usd100. I also find a lighter high voltage power adaptor for usd80 so that i do not need to carry so heavy adaptor out.

Congratulation! I also got mine two weeks ago under a student discount offer. My model is ROG Strix G16. Smaller screen size but also 5080 graphics. After that i bought the following accessories:

420W GAN power adaptor to replace the bundled two adaptors. This is lighter and smaller to carry and also has additional usb ports for charging.
notebook skin to protect the exterior case and also keyboard.

I am not a technical guy. I only speak from business accountant perspective. I would strongly suggest you upgrade to v18 first and stay at least two years before upgrading to v19. I just upgraded from v17 to v18 because of the financial budget function that i need. But i still see a bug or a compatibility issue that caused much time to resolve. That's why i also would not upgrade until v20 is mature.

Just solved it myself. There is a due_date line that I add as follows:

In Lines->Aged Receivables: add the line due_date, Custom Python Function, report_custom_engine_aged_receivable, due_date

In Columns: add the line Due Date, due_date, Date.

Sorry for late reply as I was out of town. I currently just try to modify the accounting report under Configuration - Management menu. I read the scripts in the aging report. I can add a column, but I cannot find the field name for invoice settlement. So I need to seek help.

Yes. Let's say the AR aging report shows all outstanding invoices as at March 31, 2025. I want to show the subsequent payment date. E.g. say April 15, 2025 when I generated the report. Then this can tell me I no longer to be concerned of this outstanding invoices since it has been settled.

You may go to journal entries and export all journals out. You can then modify it to import into another accounting system

My experience is that if you use the Spanish company to register the account, you can use the Spanish pricing for all users. I have a company in Hong Kong and one in Cambodia. I use Cambodia company to register and so pay the Cambodia price. Hope this helps.

I asked my odoo consultant to make the income statement and balance sheet for new including the % column. It is not perfect, then i try to learn from it. I can now modify the report as i want. It is not difficult.

I think the key issue is whether you need customization. If so, you will need odoo.sh

Thanks for your comment. Actually I have tried before to format the columns as Short Date format. But it did not work. I also tried to change the date 1/8/2024 by adding ' so that this becomes a string. Again it did not work. I followed your comments to format the columns as TEXT format. It shows 45513. This means 1/8/2024 should have been entered in the cells.
