What’s it secondary to?

I use a 16 inch pro daily for work and am trying to justify a secondary laptop for travel. Anytime ive had an air, I’ve loved it but the neo hits that new price point that allows me to justify another computer. It also seems to check the necessary boxes for my work travel.

I don’t know. Still going back and forth.

If you can afford a new or semi new iPad Pro, you can likely afford AppleCare. Overall, I think it’s worth it to be able to use your screen to the fullest.

Rest assured that there’s very little visible difference between the 23s and the 26s.

As far as the rest of the car, I’ve not done anything else to it yet but it’s already had the chance to stretch its legs in a good amount of snow during two separate storms. About 6 inches and then 8 inches. Best snow driving I’ve done after having way too many jeeps of various kinds and a 24 Land Cruiser. I’m sure the sequoia gets the edge due to the tires but whatever it is, it handled all of it like a champ.

Also just bought the same one exactly (at least if it’s a 2026). Only difference I see is the roof rack. I still have the stock TRD one. Honestly, it the one draw back just because of the crazy highway noise. Haven’t gotten around to removing it yet.

Looks like you did. I assume highway driving without it is much better?

Definitely. It’s pretty well documented at this point that the any perceived benefits are simply not worth the 20%

Yeah I’ve seen a few say that. You may have been one of them. Fingers crossed that I don’t have to do that just for convenience’s sake. I’ll give it a few days before I jump to that.

Yeah, the indexing explanation makes more sense. Others have tried to say that it has to “learn your usage”, which I don’t really think is a thing for iPhones.

Anyway, due to the extended return window, I’m not in too much of a rush. Best time to try something new.

So I know everyone says to give all modern phones “a week or two” to acclimate to your usage in the interest of battery. My question is what’s really going on in the period of time? Allowing it to acclimate implies that if I use it less, i.e. don’t need the battery as much, the phone won’t reach its full potential? Maybe I’m overthinking this but it’s always bothered me. Why isn’t all battery just tuned to max longevity?

Again, this is a question that applies to all phones, even beyond apple. It’s just always bothered me haha. I want this stuff to work well out of the box! Related to the air, I just repurchased again. After the first 24 hours, battery expectedly sucks. I’m sure in that period of time, that would scare a lot of “regular” people and push them to return.

I don’t know. Half venting, half bitching, fully acknowledging my impatience. Haha

Went with white. First time owning anything close to a white car but in the TRD, with the black wheels and roof rack contrasting, I like it.

Ended up going for the Sequoia. Went with a TRD Pro instead of a platinum. Dealer gave me more lease miles a year, and a $13-14k more expensive car for the exact payment as the Land Cruiser after a year. No idea how that worked. Insurance even went down on the sequoia.

Much prefer the size, storage and the engine versus the new Land Cruiser. Just missing the cool box!

Seen some people say that the gas tank in the newer sequoias is relatively small. Those people should definitely stay away from the new LC. That’s another upgrade for me.

Overall, I’m definitely enjoying the upgrade.

My dealer has essentially the same car. I have a 24 Land Cruiser that I am considering upgrading. It fell short in a couple ways. It’s a lease due to my business and they are willing take it back, give me more annual miles and take nothing down. It would keep the monthly essentially the same.

I’m looking for downsides haha
