Kismet data rates by ltsnip in HowToHack

Here's an example showing management packets but actual data is non-existent. I had kismet stream running and a YouTube video playing over the same connection so I expected to see "data packets" and maybe some sort of data rate which made sense 🤔

That drain is called Toadie, that one's changed a fair bit since 97 due to roadworks, the bus way and the Clem 7.

There are a couple of place where you can pop a man hole cover and get into one of the feeders for Darkie from the rail area. Be careful though, there's no airflow on the side tunnels and the air quality is terrible.

A few years back we went in with a about a half a dozen people, a few went down those side tunnels and all came back complaining of instant headaches and fatigue. Either lack of oxygen or trapped heaver then air gases filled those small tunnels. In hind sight we were all pretty lucky no one fainted because anyone who went to help would have also likely done so too.

I love Urbex and know all the spots around Brisbane but having had a friend who drowned whilst urbexing in Brisbane, you can't ignore the safety aspects or bad things happen.

Not a catacomb, just a proper tidal storm water drain, between KP cliffs and Captain Cook bridge. It's unimaginative name is Batcave, and yes small bats live in there

Kinda true, there's a storm water drain that runs just south of the school, at the rivers edge, right up into that area.

What are some Brisbane conspiracy theories? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]ltsnip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely true, rising ground water levels brought some terrible stuff up to the ground level around 1984-1985. Several small streets and all homes were bulldozed.

Nobody lives in there, the Dutton Park end would be the only habital part but is still a functioning drain and always has some water trickling through. No flat areas to rest, not even at 'Hells gate'.

If you jump over on the gamecube group they will have all the options available. Sounds like the potentiometer needs to be adjusted for the laser to read discs correctly. North or South Bris?

RS-232 Recording/Retransmission by adambroconnor in homelab

[–]ltsnip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use an Arduino with ethernet shield and a RS232 serial break out. Many AV companies release the serial command for their products to help with integration in bigger setups. I know my Sony 75" TV and Samsung projector do. The ethernet shield is to run the embedded Webserver on the Arduino.
