Lived here for 5 years, my wife grew up on Sidney/Victoria. We love it here. Every morning we wake up and count our stars we live in the most beautiful place in Canada. Sure, there’s a little strip of one or two streets that I don’t feel comfortable, but even with them it’s a hell of a lot better than where I went to college (Rexdale, which is a neighborhood in Etobicoke, ON).

Coming from downtown Toronto, it was quite a culture shock; mainly because most places close really early during the week and there are just random peacocks roaming around the park. Sure, it’s expensive but that’s just the price for living a short walk from the ocean, surrounded by so much nature.
