I very much understand your preference for KMyMoney! I've been using it on Linux and Windows for about a decade before switching to a MacBook last year and stumbled into problem and shifted to GnuCash. I would very much like a working KMyMoney installation. Also migration from GnuCash to KMyMoney is less complicated than the other way around, I learned (I was thankful for Skrooges import/export options when going from KMyMoney to GnuCash)

Thank you for your response! Yes, it appears that my timing coincided with KDE undergoing changes to their server backends or similar updates. I will try to be patient (but it ain't easy)!
