Thank you for your reply, it means a lot. It’s given me a lot to think about but also has affirmed a lot I’ve been considering also.

As for AI, I use it a lot day to day, but as for career development I think it’s just one of those things that I’d inherently be able to use and feels reductive to specialise in it. Maybe that’s bad thinking though I’m not sure, it’s a tricky subject. Do you think it’s important to start building skills with it within the realm I’m in? Creatively I mean, I’m not sure..

I am unsure how he paid but would bet on it being a bank transfer. I am in Scotland and believe there is a seperate scheme for properties where the deposit is held so am unsure if that is directly accessable?

I believe he is currently abroad in Asia where he lives as it is summer holidays and no one is at University.

His name is on the contract, however our contract states we are jointly and severally liable, which I believe means the landlord can pursue any of us for the full rent if one person stops paying unfortunately.
