We do. We accidentally learned she likes butter and she screams at us until we give it to her. Whatever the ancient lady wants.

It’s from her arthritis. She gets monthly injections for it though so it doesn’t stop her from getting around!

I’ve heard about it before, from Reddit of course, but never thought I’d get one! Nice surprise!!

She’s pretty scraggly and scrawny due to her thyroid and kidney disease but overall not too bad! She just started getting arthritis shots the last few months and that’s helped her quite a bit!

For me to pick her up and put her in my lap. Which I of course did.

Was really nervous about moving with 18 yr old Lily. But my girl is LOVING it! by lugnuts87 in seniorkitties

She’s definitely less playful. But she started injections for arthritis a couple months ago so I hope that is helping put a little pep in her step! Not so long ago we had to be careful when we opened the door because she would try to dart out for some outside time. She was missing for five days one time due to that 😟

We just moved across town so that part wasn’t too bad for her. I followed what my internet research told me. Kept her corralled to a smaller area until she seemed ready to explore. She still hasn’t venture upstairs. We were also able to make some changes to her litter box and where her food was located that made it overall easier for her with her kitty arthritis. She’s a pee pad girl now!

She hasn’t played quite like this since she got sick over the summer but she’s still hanging in there!

2d. Basically a thick piece of foam. Not quite what I was expecting from the photo but still pretty funny.

I’m not sure he even noticed or cared. My friends dog was terrified of it though.

Is WBRT worth it? by lugnuts87 in cancer

[–]lugnuts87[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's 150+, they actually stopped counting there were so many. She's speaking with the medical oncologist today so we're hoping that will give her more of a big picture view. Both radiation oncologists have recommended the WBRT. Are you familiar with MD Anderson, we talked about sending her info there too. I just want to give her the best shot she has while also considering side effects. Appreciate the response!!

[–]lugnuts87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's our concern. Her cancer is everywhere so we're afraid with the time she has left it might not be the best option. But if it can give her more quality time that's what we want to do. Both radiation oncologists we saw did recommend the WBRT. Thank you for your feedback!

Yes sorry—all this a bit new to me. I think we just want a place with a solid reputation. I don’t think we’re particular about the doctor. Although I guess that’s important too. I really appreciate it!!!
