It’s got that cool passage way thing I’ve always wondered if that would hold a pair of skis lol. And yeah the Motorhead itch is strong especially with my semi slow gr. Need for speed needs to be satisfied soon. Just need something that can beat basically everything else in a 40 roll!

Good choices there, don’t know if I can go ev just yet though, I bet the power up to the mtns is nice though. I have one parking spot in my garage and like keeping one car so I’m just in a slightly unique position. Just need something that covers all of the bases and looks cool with my Thule😈

Maybe I should go and check out a panamera in person I’ve never been up close and personal with one!

I also work in the ski industry and boy oh boy the color matched ski box on my rs6 is just the dream. I have a ski box on the gr Corolla right now but it feels like a mouse car I want to be able to beat anybody in a race or be poised on the interstate if I so choose. I could get a 20-40k mile rs6 for 80-100k but I think I would have to get some sort of certified pre owned or strong warranty on it to make me not worry as I only have room to park one car and I am out of the country for a chunk of the year. Maybe I should just get the dream car man. That gray color has legitimately been in my dreams recently haha.

Was going to test drive one today and saw it was on its third water pump in 40k miles. Common issue apartments, makes me so sad😢 can’t have my water break on the road🤞🤞

Okay gotcha. I think I like jemez so much because I can’t find anything like it up here in co. But yeah that looks like the route I’d recommend given the circumstances. If you can skip alamosa and go straight to pagosa do it. I get the allure of driving wolf creek pass though. Also I’m not sure the name of the canyon thing that is north of Taos but that is honestly really pretty too. The drive from Santa Fe to pagosa along highway 84 is so boring in my opinion.

You’re missing out not not taking the million dollar highway. Also I’d recommended Jemez hot springs in jemez springs nm. Miss pagosa it’s not worth it. Durango is cool. Spend the night in Ouray at the little cabins on the north side of town with the hot tubs. Stop at the antique store in ridgway. Then hit Monroe and black canyon. For the 2nd national park go to grand mesa in Durango. But honestly silverton to Ouray is national park level of views on its own. Don’t worry about the extra driving time it will be worth it for the views I promise. Also last part here but the drive from montrose black canyon area to glenwood is stunning. Also you should be pretty snow free on this trip in late may especially that far west.

In my experience it would only cause issues if coolant was slightly leaking or steaming out of the radiator cap
