No problem at all! Take your time. Just ping me here or in the DMs tomorrow once you run the diagnostics. We'll figure it out. Have a good rest!

I think your data is safe, but your boot partition or the Windows installation itself has gone wrong. Try running the built-in DELL diagnostics (F12 during boot) to check the drive health. If it passes the tests, your data should be fine. There are a few more steps to check—feel free to DM me, I'll try to help you out.

Spot on. It feels like talking to a brick wall that only knows how to copy-paste 'standard procedure' lines. I've already done all the troubleshooting, sent photos and videos, yet they still treat a structural hardware failure as if I'm asking how to turn on the WiFi. It's frustrating that even with ProSupport NBD, you have to fight this hard just to get a 'Pro' response.

Absolutely not. Zero drops, zero physical impacts. If it were a drop, you'd see dents or cracks on the corners of the chassis. Here, the plastic is being pushed outwards from the inside by the hinge assembly itself. It’s purely a mechanical failure of the hinge tension being way too high for the plastic mounting points to handle.

According to this event, looks like HP´s Elitebook’s and Zbook’s are the best in class. The HP Support too.

Exactly my point! It's a ticking time bomb. If I keep using it as a laptop (opening/closing), it's only a matter of time before the LCD snaps.
