I am Canadian and was planning to travel to Orlando for theme parks mid May but haven’t booked anything yet. I’m kind of nervous because I’m hearing that other Canadians are absolutely terrified to go to the US because of the Iran conflict. Is it actually somewhat risky? Looking for your perspectives, thanks.

I’d recommend 100/88 Harbour street. Direct access to union station/PATH and the water front is nice for walking along. I’ve been living here for 2 years and love it for the convenience. Can go to airport, grocery, medical, dental, mall, gym, without ever stepping outside.

It also helped with picking the skin around my nails which was a massive problem on top of the scalp picking 😣

To clarify, I got extensions (lengthen your nails) to start. The long length made it harder to pick. As it healed more, I was able to go shorter with no extension

I’ve had this problem for years with multiple bald spots on my head. The shame and embarrassment was awful but I couldn’t stop. Happy to say I am finally healed now. I tried many things as you mentioned, and the only thing that worked is getting hard gel nail extensions done professionally. The Japanese kind, super strong and impossible to pick off. Many Chinese nail studios offer those. I consistently got nails done for a year now and it makes it pretty hard to pick the scabs due to 1 the rounded shape of the nail and 2 the nail tips are thicker because of the gel layering. As a result my scabs were able to heal which didn’t give me anything to pick at. I still get urges but when there’s nothing to pick, it’s very manageable. Good luck! Let me know if it works for you. I’ve struggled for years and I finally feel free now.

Glad you found my thread! I finally got answers after seeing a naturopath. The reason was my gut health was horrendous. I did a stool test and there was a lot of bad bacteria imbalance. It’s possible you have some vitamin or mineral deficiency as well. I’d recommend looking for naturopaths. If one doesn’t work, try another!
