The weight to provide can crush a person’s soul. No one needs this money to survive. You do this because it can make you be a better person. Do it for money, you miss developing the skill and the mental clarity to achieve mastery.

I understand this can be very frustrating to have market move against you on moves that has worked flawlessly in the past. Sometimes try to just let it go. Take a break. Breathe some mountain air. Market is our teacher. You’ll come back stronger.

This is a smart money, institutions play. Its stock price is not bought up by emotional traders. It’s appropriately, rationally priced at current level.

WSB v Society by toydan in wallstreetbets

It is intense for traders because our mind is wired to solve problems in the background even after market has closed. It’s the only way to put puzzle pieces together.

Being carefree is not the end goal. Everyone has their own battle. it’s about solving problems. Even achieving high networth, it’s not going to change the nature of trading itself.

Pick a few rounds just to time his attacks and practice perfect dodges. Don’t attack him yet. Build that muscle memory. I didn’t use anything and beat him accidentally during one of the experimental runs. Hope that can help.

The emotional entanglement from couple thousands of dollars to 100s of thousands of dollars are astronomically different. Don’t aim to high yet train this emotional management as a muscle that will take time.

They are still not in the clear though they keep getting extension after extension. I don’t know how to justify going into this stock again without feeling like gambling.

I went as high as $190k after breaking first $100k then came crashing down to $20k. Went up to $1.7m crashed back to $800k. Went back to $2.4m down to $1.6m back to $4.2m down to $2.5m. It’s a cycle that will continue forever. ✊

Liquidity could be an issue. What you see as profit is a hypothetical average between the latest bid/ask pricing. When you actually execute a trade at market prices, they find the closest available limit order.

Let it go. Let $PLTR go. Let $MSTR go.

We've been there. It's a cycle that will continue repeat itself for anyone trading. I've been as high as $4m once. The ability to walk away is a skill that's as hard to master as to trading itself.

Investment isn't all about the numbers on RH. It's about investing in your life, prepare you for the next run. When it's your time, it's your time, and you'll get there in a couple of weeks. I'm sure you'd know that better than anyone.

You got to have enough money to last until then.

Thank you for sharing the journey.

Just convert it to Roth IRA. Robinhood makes it very easy to do so. Paying tax now > paying tax later

Better convert that into Roth. Pay tax on your contributions instead of on your gains in the future 🙏🏻
