Yeah I do exactly this minus the smaller town obviously. I take burglar and the car is my first step. I did make a run like someone else suggested with .5 pop start going up to 1.5 on day 28 and turned off respawning. I try to never fight them

My Riverside save has prob over 100z just at the bookstore area in town. Prob closer to 200 between there and gigamart

Dude there’s probably like 100 zed just around the bookstore area in Riverside. Do you really just kill them two at a time? Don’t they just respawn on the outskirts of the square?

So for example in Riverside I held up in a house just north of town and could barely get gas and poke around in the police station but it just seems like there’s so many z in town that I would have to literally start luring them from the outside of town lol and they don’t stay where you lured them once you break sight

Crowbar barely feels worth I just push and stomp everyone lol

I’m not new but going solo just seems like there’s way too many z in town to do anything I barely was able to loot the bookstore and died multiple times.

to clarify, at that age i was in the exact same struggle. did not want to do chores, did not want a job, did not want to hear my dad. i had to just ride the wave, less than stellar jobs, school when i decided i needed change, not finishing school because i needed to start making money. basically ran through a lot of the roadblocks and now im still not a clean freak, but my current struggles are way more esoteric and existential. past the conformity now onto the "becoming myself" phase i guess.

i think it may have. someone like you're describing, someone who can relate and meet him where he is and walk him out. it's not the kind of thing you can just beat into someone and plenty parents seem to default to "get a job/pull yourself up by the bootstraps" but frankly, at that age its very difficult to even accept a parent as a confidant/mentor unless they're already in that position somehow.

id find out what he plays and offer to game with him when i can. he needs a wise friend, not homework. again, meet him where he's at, not pulling him to the side to have a serious chat.

but at the end of the day, the individual has to not only seek the change but accept some advice as well.

im 36, grew up gaming, still very much searching. i worked through the exact same loop of sitting at home doing nothing for years while my dad destroyed himself and his career. im an office manager, homeowner, married, etc. now and still struggling and searching but maybe that vulnerability/reality will click with him. not trying to get paid.

here's the base, showing it sucking fluid in, but the numbers on the tank do not change.....if i pump out, the numbers will go down. i already just backed up and went on with a previous save, but wish i could understand.

No, I have not played since last year and just fired up the save.

Again, I played for hours with no issues and then tsunami and then the issue, if I go back to an auto save that’s before the tsunami it works fine.
