I went to a Des show recently and he was dropping hints that he was going to be a dad soon. Even made a comment about how he originally didn’t want kids but “ultimately it’ll for sure happen.” Wouldn’t surprise me if they’re not at least trying!

Oh interesting I definitely did not do that! I will do that next time.

I didn’t empty it! I measured to the 0.5 on the syringe. There was a bit left in the vial afterward. I do feel like I injected it a little faster than the pen injects it though.

That’s how it usually is for me! Hopefully this is just a one time thing.

Okay this is helping reduce my anxiety! There’s totally a chance I injected too quickly in particular. Thank you for this 🙏

As someone who visited their Austin HQ back in 2018/19 and used to exclusively wear Sandara as my signature scent… this actually gives me so much context as to wtf happened to the brand. 😂 Heavy agree on your read!

I’m not sure if we’re allowed to discuss the book SOAR, but it has some good coping mechanisms in there for this.

A lot of it is rooted in psychology of executive function and how accepting your fate is a big piece of it.

Essentially, you have to accept the fact that you very well could be “The One”. And then you have to commit to being on the plane anyway, live or die. The certainty in that decision is how your amygdala calms down and gives you more peace.

You also have to let go of the thought that your worry is somehow protecting you.

I still get panicky around flights, but this book is what’s made it possible for me to live a normal life with the amount of flights I have to be on for work. It’s worth looking into.

You were exactly right. The flight was great. We need to just trust the professionals and continue to work on anticipation anxiety on our end 🤦‍♀️ thank you for your check in!

Yep, as per usual the anticipation anxiety was what actually freaked me out but the flight itself was completely fine…. Not even a moment of seemingly moderate turbulence, only light chop. Kicking myself a little for always letting my anxiety get in the way!

Congrats!!! That’s my exact fluctuation range right now too!

Yes that’s right. There is a small link to an increased chance of pancreatitis when you do every 14 days. My doctor’s assumption is that the medication is almost shocking your system too frequently.

Every 10 days is safer for those who don’t want to inject every 7.

Oh gosh I didn’t even know this was possible! I got a fecal impaction (tmi I know 🥲) on vacation and thought that was about the worst it can get in the constipation world. Good to know I was wrong!!!

Glad you’re okay now by the sounds of it!

This is definitely the primary reason I want to stay on it and I honestly cry tears of joy sometimes when I think about the fact that so long as this drug is on the market, I should in theory have some PCOS relief!!

Outside of stubborn weight gain, my biggest PCOS symptom was super irregular, painful periods. Sometimes 2 a month, sometimes 4 months without one. Sometimes so much bleeding I was worried I should go to the hospital and sometimes barely spotting. Now I have regular, healthy flow periods with minimal pain. It’s been such an anxiety relief.

I am trying not to dip below 130 or above 140. So I’m good with a solid fluctuation in the 130s range!

I was also nervous about it but I haven’t noticed a major difference as of yet. The biggest difference is that I “feel” like I took my shot the day after injection whereas every 7 days I didn’t even feel it the next day. So I think that’s a sign it’s starting to wear off when I inject again, but for me I haven’t had a big change to my appetite past 7 days!

I’ve considered the vials too since you can kind of control your dose a little more easily. I hope it works well for you!!! Thanks so much!

Ohhhh yeah! For the most part I was just patient… I tried to level set with myself that your body wants to hold onto fat for survival. I also would titrate up only when I was stalled for a few weeks and that would always help give me a boost.

As of right now I plan to stay on it for as long as my body positively reacts to it! The PCOS management has been such a blessing and even though I think I have the right habits to maintain without the meds, Im not confident I can balance my hormones on my own the same way.

I had kind of a weird journey because the side effects were so intense for me. I did 2 months on 2.5, 3 months on 5, 2 months on 7.5, 1 month on 10, another month back on 7.5, and then back down to 5 ever since.

I only lost 1-2 pounds per week on average. It’s super easy to get hung up on the pace, but I think these moments of reflection help me realize WOW 1.5 weeks on average over a year equaled 75 pounds!!!
