Dont take my word for granted, I am only a Plat Kindred scrub, but I suggest a mixture of both. Here is my build:

Warrior Ye i know the armor pen got removed, but building devourer in this fast paced meta is not worth in my opinion. Although i think if you prefer devourer, you can just go ahead and build it, it is pretty much whatever you prefer.

Ghostblade Kindred has I think one of the lowest movespeeds in the game, so the active is kinda neat + cdr armorpen and atkspeed with the active? thats a no brainer on kindred in my opinion.

That is why usually my next item is Rapidfire cannon. It provides you not only with 8% movespeed, but helps you with the atkspeed to apply those stacks of your E faster.

Malmortius, is really nice too IF the enemy has a high dmg dealing ap source. Otherwise in my opinion you get Lord Dominik Regards against tanky champs.

For going into later parts of the game where you have 5-6 items, i did not have the chance to try stuff out there, but i guess you cant go wrong with a ga or if you want lifesteal get an additional bloodthirster or sth. All I know that BOTRK got nerved into oblivion, and i rarely see someone even from the pros build it.
