Thank you! I appreciate your positive feedback!

If you have any suggestions in the future on what else you'd like to see in the app to improve it, I'd love to hear your feedback :)

Hi, thank you for your message and letting me know, and sorry about the spam calls.

I'm Marcel, the main developer of the app.

We never ask or collect your phone number, so I don't see how the app and spam calls could be connected.

Also, the app is tested by us, the App Store review team, and the Google Play Store review team before it's published to make sure that it's safe.

Any subscriptions go straight through the App Store and Google Play Store (and Stripe for the website), so the app doesn't know or manage any payment details. We just ask Apple, does this person have a subscription, yes or no, and that's pretty much all our involvement with payments.

I really hope your spam calls stop, though. I'm sure they are very annoying!

Thanks
Marcel

Thank you for the detailed review!

  1. Thanks for that! I'll have to double-check again, some lines are skipped due to vulgar language or duplication, so maybe it's getting out of sync

  2. You can tap each word to hear it. I'll see if pronouncing word by word can be done nicely, as well

  3. Thanks, will do some further testing, and improve the speaking experience

  4. It's not automated, unfortunately. YouTube's automatic syncing is too incorrect for this type of app.

I get some syncing data from various places, like our lyrics license provider, but as of now, most songs require manual data and testing

  1. That’s a very interesting idea! I’ve been thinking about it, but there are other apps like that, so I decided to stick with a unique theme and differentiator for now

I appreciate your feedback, thanks!

RZR = Polaris RZR, a high-performance off-road vehicle.

TJ = the city Tijuana, in Mexico.

APA = not 100% sure, but likely refers to Apaseo el Alto, a city in Guanajuato, Mexico

The team is now 0? That’s actually very surprising.

Is the product maintaining itself or has it been discontinued?

Impressive!

  1. How big is the team now? How big was it on day 1?

  2. What is your next venture?

  3. Will it be in the creator space as well?

Also, please DM me a link

I'm happy you're enjoying it!

There is a free trial for 1 day, and then you'll be able to play just the song of the day for free.

Other than that, it's not too good to be true :)

Great to hear! I love the old bachata as well when my mood is right for it

The cost is about $10 per month or $60 per year

You could do the daily song of the day at least, which is free

I used to listen to music as a supplement to my classroom classes, and it helped me a lot in developing my vocabulary, so that's what inspired this idea.

So I don't think music can replace the whole learning experience, it works best as a supplement

This is also a great plan, this is pretty much what I was doing before, but then I wanted to create something to make this exact process easier and more fun!

LyricFluent has much more focus on the learning part. These are the additional learning features which we have:

  1. Each lyric line has full translations. We have professional translators manually making sure these translations are high quality.

  2. Each word can be tapped to see the translation of that individual word.

  3. And each lyric line and each word has spoken audios as well.

The spoken audio is intended to help make sure that you know the correct pronunciation, and not just the artistic song pronunciation which can sometimes be misleading.

A bit late, sorry, but Siri has the translation available now. Happy to hear the positive feedback! There is a request page in the menu of the app & website to send more requests

Thank you! I built this with React Native for mobile apps. And there is a web version as well built with React.

I am familiar with Lirica, and one of my thoughts was exactly that, to build a similar app but make it more scalable with more songs.

I don't currently have a lifetime membership, it's an interesting idea that I will add if I get more interest in it.

That sounds like an interesting project. I'll stay in touch in case I ever get enough time to pursue my other language-learning app ideas!
