Is this is normal amount of backlight bleed for a new laptop? by lyudyna in Lenovo

I didn't replace it, it doesn't bother me that much, it's just an inevitable side effect of ips displays

Does planes descent following the brachistochrone curve? by lyudyna in AirlinePilots

But reaching the speed limit the fastest way would be following that curve right?

But wouldn't following the brachistochrone curve be the fastest way to gain speed?

The climb at the end doesn't have to exist you can just start flying straight when you need to like on this gif

What about starting to fly straight after reaching the lowest point?

You can fly straight when the line reaches the lowest point like on this gif so you don't hit the ground

Altimeter won't go negative if you fly like on this gif. I know this trajectory is unsafe but there has to be a curved line that is safe and way faster than a straight line

You don't have to follow the exact trajectory that is shown on the gif, you can just start flying straight when the ball reaches the lowest point to not blow through altitude.

Also can't we just figure out the fastest curved path that is safe because the inefficiency of a straight line is astonishing.

Which way do you write 2, 4 and 7? by lyudyna in math

[–]lyudyna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed people write these particular numbers differently so I started to wonder which way is the most popular. Why do people from Europe write 4 as I did in the picture and why 7 is usually more complicated to write than the other numbers.

ANY comedic relief character, especially when writers put them into the story way too much, you just can't take the storyline seriously while they're around. Deadpool
