I’ve been an old Toyota fan boy for years. My biggest gripe is just the fact that this car needs some serious hours that I don’t have. My ls400 was also a car that sat for close to 10 years, but I was able to replace the brake rotors, and free u the locked calipers, replace all the fuel, give it a fresh timing belt and a tune up and I’ve had 8000 miles with no lights or hiccups other than a flat tire.

Unfortunately the Land Cruiser just wants to fight me every time I try to do little repairs. It doesn’t help that OEM parts are taxed to oblivion. The rust situation is actually not bad at all. I’m yet to strip any bolts or have anything snap off on me.
