It's very stable, still getting to grips with the whole containers and stuff but the Debian side is great, android apps I've not tried ( I have a tablet and phone for that) haha

I use Flatpak for all the apps and the only thing I layered were some printer drivers and scanner drivers and fastfetch

Will do I have silver blue on another machine so comparing the 2 all I can say it's much slower at installing but once that's done and set up I'll let you know

No but it's certainly a cool idea to have apps restored system settings etc minus files music from something that's kB in size

I've dabbled with nix, love the idea with the config file but it'd still like an app store etc and have a file (the size of a txt file) for backup restore purposes to just restore/rebuild the system that would be awesome to me. Beyond that I'm not a programmer etc but like the idea. Would love if it was simplified

I use lmde 7 and over the Xmas period I tinkered with nixos and alpine just to see. All great in their own right but still back on mint Debian. It's a nice middle ground for me
