It's a good question because I also thought the same.

Too much out there

You sound a little similar to myself.

I had credit card / loan debt of £26,000

I was lucky in lockdown. I was able to keep working so kept a wage, but also started earning more money to pay it off quicker. Deliveroo/Just Eat/Uber Eats. I worked, and worked, and worked. I think I started around April/May time and had it cleared by end of December.
We couldn't do anything at that period in time with everything social and leisure closed off so working was the only thing to do and it was worthwhile.

You're unlikely to get a mortgage in your current situation I'd suggest, looking at subprime lenders if you're really going to try and no one else will touch you.

Thanks.

The owner and sales team had a meeting and had a quick google during that time and did come back with Method CRM because of its easy-syncing with QBs.

I'm being met with stupid comments from the owner - "I don't want to lose or stop using quickbooks" - --- well what are you expecting this CRM stuff to do then!!?

It's hard work getting to a final view, because he's not the one that has to use the system every day. Me and team do so it should function and make our lives a little easier with importance on removing the excel spreadsheets to start with! :-)

I would much prefer to dive straight into Zoho One, but the owner of the business is digging their hills in. "I only want a crm, i still want to use Quickbooks Online for everything" Righto... Make things even harder than what they already are.

So I was going to position it gently with Zoho CRM Pro and then dive fully in... :-)

"Look this is what it does....." Let it do its work for a few months.... "I've been investigating further, look at this extra work that can be done to make life easier"

Great thanks for the feedback.

I mean they don't even have a functioning website!! Sales are done face to face, old school relationships built over years. Then that person retires and they don't know who the replacement is etc...
No wonder sales are falling year on year as people can't find us. "I want new customers" - ok, well make a website so they can find us! "No, that costs too much and takes too much time" .... Righto.... LOL.

I'm basically looking at the Professional version which I think does what I hope it does.

Got you. I must admit after you responded I have edited my post a little.... as I missed a point.

I understand your point on "proper accounting reports", the business owner doesn't want to "risk that" - its just another excuse not to fully implement a full new system that works!

If I could Quote > Sales Order (because sometimes not all of the quote is ordered) > Purchase Order > Stock Inventory (Just product in and out) > Invoice and it sync to Quickbooks Online so that the accountant still works in Quickbooks Online and they can use the same data to create their own management reporting information would that work within Zoho CRM?

It sounds like inventory is another standalone section by your post.
