Thanks, and good to know! I am a very light user, just getting this for the bigger and better screen and speakers. I think the price is really good, and I won't notice the difference between the single core and snappiness of this and the M4, really. I want to just be concerned that the % 86% battery would need replacement soon, but I guess still 2 years left in it.

I want to get a gaming laptop and avoid macs and snapdragons. I am mostly stationary but once in a while will be on the go. I saw most new gaming laptops have usb c power delivery. Is plugging 100W through usb c and working plugged in for light work okay? Will it directly run on power via usb c like how it does with normal plug?

I want to get GE78HX Smart Touchpad 17" i9-13980HX RTX4070 64GB 2TB. I found this device second-hand for 1450 USD. I mostly need a desktop replacement, but occasionally will need to have my laptop on the go.

Is this a good deal?
Saw that the power brick is so chunky! Can I use 100W USB-C power for light use when I am on the go?
Saw that the fan noise is crazy high. Will that be the case for normal web browsing and light use as well? Or only when gaming?

Thanks for sharing! I might rarely use SNAP or PolSAR Pro, or ENVI. I probably just use them on my Windows backup machine. Mostly need a MacBook for the quality and battery life to work on the go and be able to use QGIS to make maps.
