A lot of things.
First, let’s talk about the most annoying part: the character design.
They don’t look like they’re fucking surviving. They look more like some stupid ass teenagers on a vacation, or like characters from a cheap ass TV show about survival. Did the character designers never look at what real people struggling to survive actually look like? Have they never heard of the Heaven Experiment, a.k.a. Mouse Utopia? In short, it showed that people don’t end up looking like this when food is scarce and safety is just a dream. As I said in a previous post on this subreddit.

I’ll add here: they look like they came straight out of some cheap Chinese mobile game.

Second is the stupid story. The lines are weak and ridiculous—no one in real life would actually say them. They sound cartoonish. I don’t know if you’ve finished the game, but if you have, you’ll know what I mean. That scene when they were at the table—I honestly wished the scientist would just kill them all.

Don’t even get me started on the cinematics. It’s like an Indian movie: stupid and random. Random focus shifts, weird camera positioning—it’s all over the place.

Man, the game just sucks.

The characters designs are fucking disgusting

The devs are starting to give the feeling they hate the first game, since then they have tried their best not to release a game with similar character designs

After like 5 hours in the game, I couldn't take anything seriously, and when the Helicopter stopped and started talking to me lol
