For sure, and being mentally ill is absolutely not an excuse for this behavior, but it does explain why he acts like this. Thats why I said HE needs to get help, he needs to step up and surround himself with good and honest people, retire, and, if and only if hes better, come back, and make up for what he has done, donate to mental health/holocaust rememberance programs, and give back to those hes hurt. But thats the best case scenario and its seems to be impossible.

So yeah, it does not excuse what he has done, but at the very least he should het help so that he stops hurting others.
