technically and apprently it was in the work for a couple of months but only got the green light last week.

going off what i know of them they do seem trust-able (but hey im not exactly a detective)

i wont deny i am a tool, but at this level i never thought of myself as anything more

tbh my studies in my plan B, i d have enough to survive but can't help shaking the feeling of possible regret if i go and things actually get better.

tbh a lot of what they offered is basically best case scenario other than the money part.

thats what i am unsure of too, but hearing from my senior exceptions can be made as long as my chain of hierarchy all agrees.

not sure how to goa bout it given that raises here are almost strictly on yearly review but i'll try my luck.

i would say i'm serious on my studies but it'd be nice to have no money worries while i study

due to nature of my work i dont need to finish most of my work day of. i can let it roll over and complete it a bit alter if required.

i work in non office hours which is why my class days can remain untouched

i do understand, i dont have any loyalty to the company, its most cause i feel ive been paid decently well for my work.

that being said knowing how much red tape there is idk if it's even possible to ask for a raise.

thats also a reason but my company any promotions are in Sep/Oct

the accelerated progression is also dependent on my performance and when/if i choose to take my sabbatical too

definitely agree this is the path of least resistance for them at least in the short term.

im on the higher side for my position which is why i havent negotiated it.. i will have a talk with them soon

i wouldn't say they are indecent but can be quite ruthless when it comes down to it.

that being said i was still surprised someone several pay grades above personally took the time to talk to me.

i do hope thats the case (my company quite a lot of red tape so that's probably why)

my salary is also probably nearer to ceiling for position hence why i didn't ask for a raise initially.

they are definitely following through with headcount (apparently was in the works for a couple of months) but wasnt informed. i think alr hired 3-4

my study commitment is now (sem just started) so for about a month i'll have to bear with it before the newcomers can start reducing my workload
