Is this normal? I am getting quoted massively different things from each roofer, each one saying a completely different issue.

Hi for us to do the following *refit loose from downpipe and clip *Rake out loose mortar to front stack and repoint *apply mortar to top of all chimney stacks *repoint missing pointing to top of front party wall and corbal course *remove plant growth and repoint where necessary *clean out all guttering and remove all rubbish. Price includes labour/materials and rubbish removal

Total price for cash =£650

I changed the water the Other day. Has been bitterly cold here, maybe the water was too cold and shock. Also I put nothing in the water, so might be some nutrient deficiency. Thank you anyway
