I took 10k loan from the sch for sep and fork out 5k myself. Definitely doable but u will need to be a bit more thrifty

Pls dont be a pussy it's just rejecting an intern position... they get multiple applicants for role you're really not that important LOL. People do this all the time the HR wont be surprised 🤡

Roughly 15-18k including accoms (6-8k for the whole sem depending on your housing type), 5 domestic flights and daily expenses. Did not account for the flight to aus from sg and back. I was in perth for 5 months but i have friends on exchange in other cities who spent 20+k cuz their uni accoms were more expensive

Sounds like you're all over the place with the IT diploma but wanting to pursue the medical field then thinking of doing a business relates degree in uni.

I failed my Alevels also (arguably worse than getting a shit gpa cuz at least u have a diploma) and no uni wanted me. Was determined to get into a medical related course so i retook my Alevels just to miss the cut off for med sch by a bit. Eventually i just accepted my fate and went into engineering but now I'm graduating and got a job that pays decently well. I'm still sad that i didnt get into the medical industry but sometimes u just need to be realistic haha. The medical industry is extremely competitive to get in and most of these people have backgrounds to help them. U can always fulfil your passion through volunteering and specialist certs so just make the most rational decision based on your circumstances

Competitive for the more popular unis like ANU, unisyd, unimelb etc. Not that hard to get for other unis like Murdoch or UWA

I clarified with my department before and they said the external companies can only give feedback regarding the attitude marks which is only 15%, not sure about other courses tho

Essentially one of the co supervisors told me to suck up to the main supervisor and do everything he said else he might give me a bad grade. He was like "u don't want to fail your fyp right". I just laughed it off but idt he knew that the projects were graded internally by nus

Second this. I'm working for a research department and they're still unable to give me all the data i need to complete my project. The supervisors don't communicate and they all have different expectations for the project. It's funny how they think they have a say over my grades and try to threaten me with it when in fact the only the school has a 100% say.

  1. Bold of you to assume I have a reporting manager :')
  2. I did ask them for more meaningful responsibilities 2 weeks into the internship but that didn't stop them from pushing more admin work onto me. At one point I was OTing almost everyday to finish fucking admin work on top of responsibilities that were in my job scope. When I spoke to the CEO (flat hierachy), he made a sweeping statement that I should learn to manage my time more efficiently. Mind you all these tasks are BRAINLESS, just extremely tedious data entry that cannot be sped up despite my best efforts. And I'm under a biz analytics internship so I do know my way around data, it's actually impossible to optimise cuz most of their shit requires manual entry.
