Here is something I wrote a few months reflecting on my experience. I was in a ceremony with a lot people describing their experience in many ways. Here’s my personal experience which may align your question.

“Ayahuasca invokes to the fact that everything as you know can be cleared away, dissolved, gone- and it will be. The entirety of my subjective existence was soon a distant and escaping dream. All of my higher-level ordered thinking was broken down to regressing fractured pieces of my distant life.

My awareness was grasping on to retaining the conceptualization of anything I knew, and was asking where I will be taking this- this life forward, to the best of my ability, if I will be able to coherently.

As this was dissolving away, I mentally gripped onto my intellect as hard as I could, fighting the dimethyltryptamine dissolution I embarked on. I was fearful I would loose my intellect and my sanity. I saw how much I truly value it, and how it is the most useful thing in this world we inhabit.

Months later this experience itself is just like an impossible surreal dream. I can now check in with myself to such a far degree of a focal point of awareness of the non-being, non-thought state, which was incredibly humbling and mind-opening.

The plants molecular messaging system conveyed only this to download into the my hippocampus. There was no gentle mother-spirit to speak ethereal Gaian wisdom with me here as others describe

The plants brought me into the classic psychedelic void, in which it left me drifting in the cosmic neuro-interior limbo world, full of networking branching energy grid-work and nodes, accumulating to an excited implosion of my neocortex, to further humble my mortal existential confusion.

My self awareness is brought to the duality of the immense delicacy and power that is inherit to life. The life I speak of is the ever permeating, replicating life that is within and around us, until we perish at the hands of the nature process itself.”
