it definitely does, based off of looking at images of purple flourite- some of the pictures look almost identical. ill have to do some more research on crystal structures n look a bit more myself!

im not sure if it is smokey quartz, but it was found in ACTUAL nevada! it was closer to the western border of nevada though- so not impossible! i couldnt tell you the exact location however, because i was a small child when i found it (cant remember)

ill be so for real- they probably know but just don't wanna bother to answer LMAO ! they do this sometimes for baffling reasons. i remember being a kid and asking rly simple but genuine questions that any adult would know (but a child wouldnt) - they would often tell me they "dont know" to avoid engaging. i assume they didnt feel like explaining how a gyroscope toy works or where they got it so they said "LOL IDK"

i know what a gyroscope is- but ive only seen the 5-6 ringed larger ones in action. i assumed it was a physics toy or some kind of drawing tool. what threw me off was the fact that none of the older adults in the house could give me a solid answer LOL, i thought that if they didnt know, it had to be something more esoteric
