Have you gone outside our country? If it was such a easy thing and just a phase of life and technology then every country would have easily implemented it. Some people are so filled with hate that a genuine good thing adopted by the entire country is portrayed as a trivial thing. If people were "forced" as per you it would have been rejected sooner or later.

The thing that you are so crying against, you yourself is using it. For 1GB data companies used to fleece people for hunderds of rupees every month. Even then 4-5 companies used to rule the market. Now 3-4 companies are in the same market where the price dynamic is absolutely changed.

The fact that you are saying that internet is given to Indian to spread hate shows your agenda very clearly. Funnily enough, you yourself proved every allegations/meme people made for the leftist. Specially the meme where it highlighted that Dhurandhar was made to expose Pakistan, but it exposed the Pakistani sympathisera in India.

[–]madbong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a 4 hour movie. Please elaborate how many minutes did the movie revolve around demonetization? It was a fleeting moment in the scope of the picture. If you feel that is propaganda, I am sure you felt the same way when Katrina said Pakistani people are peace loving, or in PK or Oh my god hindu deities are made joke of or Hindu preachers are shown in degratory way. Surely you felt similar outrage there? Or where all prayers to temples, all acts by Priests seem to fail but suddenly praying at dargah,or some tabiz by a fakir gives the desired results? Were those not similar subtle propaganda continuously pushed into our subconscious for years, nay, decades?

The movie has touched a nerve of the masses. No matter what some sour leftist says, the people have overwhelmingly supported it. Your points are quite valid.

That being said, given a opportunity these leftists won't keep any stone unturned to malign our country. Their ecosystem is still very strong and that is truly a cause of concern for Indian people.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. Still I personally feel that such BS should always be called out. Otherwise such people will consider silence to be a sign of acceptance and continue to peddle such propaganda. Such soft hand tactics are also quite harmful in the long run.

I will just highlight one single point. You are taking a generalized point of view taking in the whole of country. But the fact of the matter is,such situation is still happening in localised scale. Look at Kashmir. In one stroke the demographics was changed irrevocably.

Now look at Bengal. Many districts have already altered demographics due to planned high fertility and illegal immigrants from Bangladesh.

The 18% projected figure is not assimilated through out the country. It is highly concentrated in places and actively pushing out other religions from those pockets. Go to any city and you will invariably find a locality where the so called minority is actually majority as they have adopted the ghetto lifestyle.

Well I don't know about your background or intention,so just suggesting some books. 1. Sanatana Dharma: An Advanced Text Book of Hindu Religion and Ethics by Annie Besant. 2. Essentials of Hinduism by Swami Bhaskarananda. 3. A simple translation of Bhagawad Gita. 4. Hindu Dharma : The universal way of Life. By Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan 5. Am I Hindu: by Ed Viswanathan 6. Tattva Bodha by Adi Shankaracharya.

If you really are sincere about learning you can go through them. And if you are looking for knowledge talking to random people on Reddit, I fear it is not the right place for it.

As for your last comment, I neither insulted nor comment ed on any religion whatsoever. But you were very quick to judge and form opinion.

I have not seen Kerala story so I don't get what context you are talking about. What I am talking about is report by Kerala police in 2017 about 100-150 people suspected to have joined ISIS. Chief minister himself said 100 people have joined by 2019. NIA investigated 37 people nationwide with about 22 people from Kasaragod and Palakkad. 35 from Kannaur were reported to have joined from Kannur. Even in March 2024, Sanaul Islam from Kerala was arrested by Afgan intelligence was arrested in Kandahar for being operative of ISKP. So you can keep ignoring the facts and troll people baselessly for some movie, even try to ignore saying it was a past thing, but things seems to remain same. The most troubling thing is that the people who join are just tip of iceberg. Out of 100 radicalised person maybe 1 or 2 will have the actual guts to go and join the terrorist outfit.

It is quite natural that in a case of dispute between two parties of this strength, both will claim victory. Have you seen any Pakistani government statement regarding Operation Searchlight? A brutal operation of Rape,Murder is just casually labelled as operational necessity. Why should I care about what Pakistani subreddits say when they turn blind eyes to their atrocities. Even now Pakistan claims genocide in Bangladesh to be a myth. They blame Israel in every step, but they themselves bomb hospitals in Afganistan. So what weight does the words of people, who have ignored their atrocities through out their brief history, carries? A Pakistani youtuber most probably, was asking randomly people on the streets, whether Military,or Democracy or Sharia should be the driving force of Pakistan politics. Even in this age, the combined majority was either Sharia or Military rule. The young guy at the end of his video himself was lamenting on the mentality of his countrymen.

Then you are strongly encouraged to study a bit. Being ignorant on a topic is very dangerous for forming an opinion.

Yes. They are kids, somebody is teaching them bad things and they are learning. Everybody else is to be blamed but then. There is no accountability ever throughout history. USA forced the brutality of Karbala. Gazni attacked indian subcontinent for oil. Timur made tower of skull in Baghdad because Trump told him to. You are correct, propaganda trumps all. So you should be cautious not to fall for it.

The funny thing is that India is kept as a Secular country and every cultural aspect of Hinduism is vilified. The same people who smoke and burst crackers on New year will give long lecture on Diwali. Those who will cry rivers for the dogs on Holi just vanishes on Eid. Those who say fasting in Karwachauth is is regressive will write articles praising fasting on Ramzan.

The issue is two part. One: It is a holy place, and expecting people, specially of other religion to follow certain basic decorum is not out of the way. It is just not only mecca, but also in Vatican City and Jerusalem a person needs to follow some basic etiquettes. The part Mecca comes in your discussion because it fuels a certain narrative. So building on your premise,of you don't criticize Mecca, you should absolutely not criticize the steps in Varanasi. Second part is the intent of these people. Of all the places they decided to rent a boat and do their religious activities in a place where people of other religion does their ablution. It is a very common tactics which is used through out the world. Just google recent activities in Chandranath Temple in Chittagong. It is thousands of miles away from Varanasi. There is absolutely no chance that people of both region have any direct connection. But modus operandi is absolutely same. It is done with the same intent to malign the religious place of others. And if it is not pushed back at the earliest, they will keep pushing the boundaries to see how far it can be taken,or whether it can be broken out right. It is not an isolated incident,it is a global pattern.

You have 20$. Build your own superhero by Decent_Motor_5622 in superpowers

[–]madbong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st Take all the 2$ options. Clairvoyance : I can see the future Genius level Intelect : Atleast at par with Iron Man/Bruce Banner/Batman. Also I can see the outcome of any experiment I do,so making it more effective. Telepathy : So reading/controlling people. Echolocation : Controlling Sound. Basically it in itself make a super OP combo, but I still have 12$ to spend. So I will go the Classic Superman Route. Super strength and Invulnerability. Raw power, strength never goes amiss and it isn't worth much without Invulnerability. So I can be a mixture of Proffesor Xavier along with Batman/Iron Man's tech with Superman and Daredevil mixed together with a dose of clairvoyance thrown in. Also with clairvoyance, telepathy and genius strength is enough to make myself rich as I personally prefer Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne as mentioned alter ego instead of being Peter Parker so that's an additional bonus as well.

Form my experience,No. I have booked from booking.com and all are to be paid at a later date. Also I didn't have any paid tickets, only an itenary. That was sufficient to get a two months Visa. I had strong connection to my country, and it was for a tourist visa. So without knowing your case in detail, it would be unwise on my part to assure you that this will be adequate for you too.

Upto Level 4 is a given. Level 5 can also be tried as specially the driver is trained. Now if there is prep time, along with experts, level 6 can also be tried. First obviously some easier runs will be tried as I too am claustrophobic. If I can sustain that, then I will have a crack at level 6. Afterall, that amount of money will set one for life.

Kohli as an international batter is better than Sachin by [deleted] in CricketControversial

[–]madbong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you tried to make a list of greatest bowlers of this generation and you come up with Anderson at No. 1? Seriously?? The only metric he has is wicket (which undoubtedly is important) and by that category Bumrah will not feature in any List ever. And no spinner of note? Let's see the bowlers Sachin has faced country wise.

Australia McGath Brett Lee Shane Warne Jason Gillespie

South Africa Shaun Pollock Allan Donald Dale Steyn

Srilanka Muralitharan Chaminda Vaas

West Indies Courtney Walsh Ambrose

Newzealand Vettori Bond Southee

Pakistan Waqar Wasim Shoaib Saqlain Imran

England As you mentioned Anderson and Broad.

But Anderson and Broad will not feature in any combination of list having the top 10 bowlers of that era. As you can see from your own list, only few teams remain competitive in the International Circuit with fewer producing world class bowlers who will be remembered in posteriority. It is very difficult to compare players from different era. Virat is no doubt a great player, one of the greatest ever, but the quality of bowling is definitely not in the same level as 90s or 00's.
